ShareTheMeal: before Develhope, an app to fight hunger in the world

The founders of Develhope launched "ShareTheMeal", the most important fundraising app globally aimed at combatting world hunger as part of the World Food Programme of the United Nations. Thanks to ShareTheMeal, over 200 million meals have been donated around the world to date: a valuable support to populations afflicted by severe humanitarian crises. ShareTheMeal was awarded by Apple CEO Tim Cook as Best of 2020. It has won the most prestigious innovation awards in the world, including SXSW, Globo Award, Webby Award, and Google Play Award.

MISSION

A Campus for social and technological innovation

The Develhope courses are 100% online to allow our students to attend them wherever they are, but we are proud to announce that we are working on building a physical space meant to host our Campus for social and technological innovation: it is a redevelopment project of a large villa located in the city of Palermo that was confiscated from crime.
The project won the tender for the redevelopment of confiscated assets promoted by the Agency for Territorial Cohesion in 2021 and will be ready for inauguration in 2026.
